This activity is worth a total of 100 points.

The rubrics on this page show you what is expected of you  in these two categories :
   1. Collaboration  and 2. The "Debriefing".

Collaboration points will involve how you react with your teammates, how well you fulfill your individual task, how well you find information and how you share this information.

The "Debriefing" will require your team to explain how you rescued Princess Adenine from the nucleus. You can present your story in any way that you choose as long as you show a "map" of the cell.  Your story should describe the organelles that would be found in an Elodea cell. The Debriefing must include all of the organelles and/or molecules listed in the table below in explaining your "Princess Adenine Rescue Story" to the class.  A "map" showing your route through the cell should accurately describe the organelles that you pass or enter.  This "map" of a plant cell and your visual aids for the debriefing can be in the form of drawings on the chalkboard, overhead transparencies, a powerpoint demonstration, poster boards, or any other form your team may create. The "debriefing" should involve each of the members of your team:   The "Mighty Chondria", the "Intruder" , the "Protector", and Prince Thymine.

(The organelles and/or molecules below are color-coded with the people that should use them) :

cell membrane
the nucleus
the mitochondrion the chloroplast
the Golgi Body the endoplasmic reticulum or  ER
ribosomes vacuoles / vacuoles
DNA and RNA cytoplasm nucleotides cilia or flagella
lysosomes ATP molecules
digestive enzymes
restriction enzymes
