This WebQuest attempts to
motivate students to learn the parts of a cell by writing a science
fiction story that uses accurate cell organelle information. The Elodea plant ( also known as Anarcharis ) is a readily
available plant often used as a good oxygenator in aquaria. A
great follow up activity would be a microscope lab
where the students
actually look at Elodea cells.
